Pet Sitters International (PSI) announces Jessica Milam, founder and co-owner of Fur Services Fur Pets in Aubrey, Texas, as the 2025 Pet Sitter of the Year.
Milam’s dedication to exceptional pet-care standards, community involvement, and efforts to elevate fellow pet-care professionals were pivotal in her selection for this honor. Under her leadership, Fur Services Fur Pets provides services to nearly 300 households and manages a team of 14 staff sitters.
She’s actively involved in PSI, serves on the board of the Texas Pet Sitters Association, and recently launched "Feeding Our Fur Friends," an initiative that donates a meal to shelter pets for every visit performed by her company.

This was no easy feat, considering the roster consisted of other amazing pet-sitters. The top five finalists for the 2025 Pet Sitter of the Year Award were:

These finalists distinguished themselves through their professionalism, extensive pet-care knowledge, business acumen, and unwavering commitment to client satisfaction. Each has made significant contributions to their communities and the pet-sitting industry.
And as the 2025 Pet Sitter of the Year, Milam will serve as the ambassador for the professional pet-sitting industry throughout the year and will be officially recognized at PSI's 2025 Pet Sitter World Educational Conference in San Antonio, Texas, this fall. Her achievements exemplify the high standards and dedication that PSI promotes within the pet-sitting profession.
